About This Place
Yerevan Botanical Garden offers a plant-focused outing in the northeast of the city. Founded in 1935, its grounds contain tree and plant collections, a central rose garden and paths laid out for viewing the vegetation. The collections include Armenian wild and medicinal plants as well as rare species.
Families can use a walk here to notice differences in leaves, bark and seasonal growth, taking the visit at their own pace. The garden is associated with the A. L. Takhtajyan Institute of Botany, so it also has a research and conservation role. Confirm admission, current entrance arrangements and access to indoor collections before setting out.
