About This Place
English Park is one of Yerevan’s oldest green spaces, set between Italy, Grigor Lusavorich and Movses Khorenatsi streets. Its landscaped walks offer a way to explore the city’s history outdoors. The Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre gives the park its other familiar name, Theatre Park, while monuments provide small discoveries along the way.
For a family visit, keep the route flexible and turn the walk into a search for statues and different tree shapes. Nearby roads need the usual care with young children. The separate Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park lies beyond Italy Street; its fountains should not be confused with facilities inside English Park.
