About This Place
Diana Abgar Park occupies a central Yerevan green space between Saryan Street and Mashtots Avenue. Landscaped planting, pedestrian paths and musical fountains give families several things to notice during a city walk. The park honours Diana Abgar, an Armenian writer and diplomatic representative associated with the First Republic of Armenia and Japan.
A visit can be as simple as walking through the gardens and watching the water when the fountains are operating. Keep young children close beside fountain basins and wet paving, and take care at the surrounding streets. Fountain performances depend on operation, so treat any water show as a possible bonus rather than a guaranteed part of the visit.
